Correction: My family and I agree that sweeter breads DO NOT make good sandwiches.

Eureka!!! I have finally found what I've searched for for so long! Hearty, tasty bread that is not over-sweet. No other store-bought bread has been able to do this. I have known about Heidelberg bread for years, but never considered it for my family's everyday bread. I love the crumb (texture), the taste, and did I already mention it's lack of sickening sweetness? (My family and I agree that sweeter breads do make good sandwiches.) Btw, I have no problem finding it. It's at my local P & C Market.

Okay, first of all, your photography rocks! Second of all, as you might imagine, I live on this bread--the French Peasant Break is just awesome.

Welcome to the food blogging world!!! And you'll be delighted to know that though not all of us came through the Preservation program, the number of Cornellians with food blogs is is getting larger all the time.
